The M-Collection

Tentoonstellingen

29 Mar-31 Aug 2026
The M‑Collection features 80+ studio works by artists specializing in mural art

The M-Collection is a large-scale group exhibition held in the presentation space of Murals Inc., a podium for contemporary murals. It features studio works by over 85 muralists from the Netherlands and beyond, all part of the Murals Inc. roster, showcasing a wide range of styles, backgrounds, and approaches to mural painting.

A highlight of the exhibition is the inclusion of three large-scale, site-responsive murals, each created by a different artist with a distinct conceptual and stylistic approach. These murals act as structural anchors: independent in character, yet forming a dynamic dialogue with the surrounding studio works, which are also available for purchase.

During Rotterdam Art Week — and in the five months that follow — The M-Collection presents a carefully curated overview of current developments in mural art. By showing studio work by muralists, the exhibition reveals how monumental practices translate into smaller, autonomous works. It deepens the conversation around mural art and firmly positions the medium within the broader context of contemporary art.

For art collectors: you have the opportunity to commission a mural from one of these talented artists, or to purchase a studio work, thereby acquiring a valuable piece of this contemporary movement for your collection.

The M-Collection will be opened by: Anne Clement van Vugt MA I Coordinator-Adviser Art Affairs I Secretary EUR Art Committee I Board Member SUHK

and Jorden Goossenaerts, CEO and co-founder of CONIX RDBM.
